Hestia Jewels and FerrariFirenze maintains the highest standards in design, materials, and artisanal craftsmanship. With some simple, basic care, you can help preserve and protect your fine jewelry so that it can last lifetimes; with the intent of being passed down from generation to generation.

We recommend that when not wearing your jewelry, keep it inside a soft and dry protective surface, or inside the jewelry pouch that it comes with. This will maintain the quality of the item and prevent damages. Try to keep your jewelry away from direct sunlight, water/humidity, perfumes, fragrances, lotions and sprays. Professional cleanings are recommended as often as once a year.

Our jewelry is exclusively under warranty for any manufacturing defects (in material or workmanship) within a 24-month period from the date of purchase. However, if you wish to repair an item that has been damaged through accidents or standard usage, we can assist you in repairing the item at your cost. For any enquiries regarding warranty coverage and repairs, please contact us at info@hestiajewels.com for further assistance.

Please refer to each of the materials below for a more detailed care guide.

DIAMONDS AND PRECIOUS STONES:

Diamonds and gemstones are susceptible to visible dulling of the surface as a result of daily wear, dust, chemicals, water and pollution. We suggest that you take these pieces to a trained jewelry source to receive professional maintenance and cleaning as often as once a year. You can also maintain your jewelry at home by using a nonabrasive cleaner for diamond and gemstone jewelry.

PEARLS:

Cultured fine pearls have a vulnerable and sensitive nature, they require careful handling, cleaning, and storage. If taken care of correctly, they can easily be a timeless piece in your collection. It is important that you keep them away from direct contact with perfumes, cosmetics, perspiration and dirt. To clean cultured pearls, you may gently wipe them with a slightly damp clean cloth.

GOLD:

We source and manufacture our pieces with the purest form of quality 14K and 18K gold. Pure gold is the only precious metal that will not oxidize or discolor, since it contains no oxides. However, gold should be polished often to retain its luster and shine. You can do this by using a gentle jewelry cloth or by lightly scrubbing with a soft bristle brush and warm water.

STERLING SILVER:

Precious metals other than gold will require a little more attention and cleaning from time to time. Sterling silver is vulnerable to oxidizing and tarnishing, try to keep them away from chlorine, bleach and water. When storing these pieces, keep them inside an enclosed pouch to prevent oxygen from oxidization. You can clean your silver by using a small amount of silver jewelry cleaner on a soft cloth and gently rub the silver several times. Then we suggest that you rinse the silver thoroughly in warm water and carefully dry them to avoid tarnishing. Wearing the pieces are also recommended as the oils of your skin can help maintain that extra shine and durability.
